Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting& Reporting
  • Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets for the Singapore and/or Malaysia entities.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

  • Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting schedules.
  • Group Reporting& Consolidation
  • Liaise closely with the Group Finance team on reporting requirements, intercompany reconciliations, consolidation schedules, and implementation of group accounting policies.
  • Ensure local financial reporting aligns with corporate accounting standards, reporting timelines, and internal governance requirements.
  • Taxation &Statutory Compliance
  • Manage all local tax compliance matters, including corporate income tax filings, GST submissions, withholding tax requirements, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including filings with ACRA, and other relevant authorities.
  • Audit & Internal Controls
  • Coordinate and manage annual statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, and responses to audit inquiries to ensure timely audit completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls over financial reporting processes; identify control gaps and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Systems &Financial Planning
  • Support SAP month-end closing activities, including journal postings, cost allocations, reconciliations, and validation of financial data generated from the system.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and rolling forecasts by providing financial analysis and reporting support.
  • Projects &Business Support
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and ad-hoc financial analysis or reporting assignments as directed by the Finance Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professionalaccounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, and compliance, preferably within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements .
  • Experience in group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany accounting .
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Experience in a semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering or manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Wiling to work in East region, Changi North Crescent

Job Summary The Financial Reporting &Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial accounting, reporting, and statutory compliance activities for the entities. This role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulatory requirements and group accounting policies, and the effectiveness of internal controls. The incumbent will work closely with the Group Finance team, external auditors, tax authorities, and cross-functional stakeholders to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
