Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

What You'll Do as a Grounds Person: As a Grounds Person at Westgate Resorts you create beautiful outdoor spaces that make a lasting first impressions. This role focuses on maintaining the resort's grounds to ensure a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for all who visit. You will demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. Operate pickup truck and/or a golf cart in daily work. Empties all trash cans at pools, three story buildings and team member parking lot as needed. Disposes of grease and cooking oil in proper containers. Pick up trash from curbs on property and surrounding areas to highway. Sweeps curbs and sidewalks. Cleans grounds and removes litter. Empty trash cans in the public area buildings Empty dumpsters. Operates trash compactor. Empties recycle bins. Breaks down cardboard items and places in appropriate containers. Leaves work area in a clean, neat and safe condition.
