About the role

Our client is a reputable international logistics company providing end-to-end freight and supply chain solutions. They are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Officer / Logistics Coordinator to support daily freight operations and ensure the smooth execution of import and export shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments via air and sea freight.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Liaise with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and internal departments to facilitate timely shipment execution.
• Track shipment progress and provide regular updates to customers on delivery status.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and support continuous process improvements where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
