About the role

The Treasury Back-Office Specialist is responsible for ensuring a robust, compliant, and scalable treasury back-office function. This role plays a critical part in SOX compliance, treasury business and IT controls, and process excellence, while also driving innovation through treasury automation and AI initiatives. The position works closely with Treasury Front Office, Treasury Mid Office, Finance, IT, Internal Audit/ Control, and external partners to ensure accurate execution, strong governance, and continuous improvement of treasury operations globally. This is a 12-month contract full-time role with possible to extend. Your responsibilities will include: SOX Compliance & Treasury Controls Own and maintain SOX compliance for Treasury-related processes and systems Design, document, and test Treasury Business Controls and IT General Controls (ITGCs) Act as primary Treasury contact for Internal Audit, External Audit, and SOX advisors Identify control gaps and drive remediation plans in collaboration with Finance and IT Ensure segregation of duties, access controls, and approval workflows across treasury systems Treasury Back-Office Operations Oversee day-to-day treasury back-office activities, including: Trade confirmations and settlements Cash movements and bank account administration Deal lifecycle administration (FX, funding, investments, guarantees) Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of treasury transactions Maintain treasury master data, mandates, documentation and managing administrator tasks Kyriba superuser for admin tasks Bank Account Management Corporate Cards Management End-to-end ownership of the corporate cards program, including: Card issuance, limits, and user administration Policy compliance and spend controls Integration with expense management systems Act as escalation point for card providers and internal stakeholders Treasury Process Design & Optimization Design, standardize, and continuously improve end-to-end treasury processes, in LUCID Lead process documentation (process flows, RACI, control matrices) Support treasury system implementations, upgrades, and integrations Drive automation to reduce manual work, errors, and operational risk Treasury AI & Innovation Initiatives Identify and lead AI and advanced analytics use cases within Treasury, such as: Exception monitoring and anomaly detection Forecasting support and data quality checks Automated reconciliations and reporting Partner with IT, Data, and external vendors to pilot and scale AI solutions Ensure innovation initiatives remain compliant with internal controls and SOX requirements Stakeholder Management & Leadership Act as a trusted partner to Treasury, Finance, IT, Audit, and Compliance teams Provide guidance and training on treasury processes and controls Contribute to treasury policy development and governance frameworks Support junior team members and promote best practices across the function We expect you to have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5-8+ years of experience in Treasury Operations / Back Office, preferably in an international or listed company Strong hands-on experience with SOX compliance and audit environments Experience with treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, Oracle NetSuite, FXALL, Banking applications etc.) Competencies: Deep understanding of treasury products, processes, and controls Strong knowledge of IT controls, system access management, and process automation Structured, detail-oriented, and control-minded with a continuous improvement mindset Comfortable working at the intersection of Treasury, Finance, IT, and Audit Curious and forward-looking, with interest in AI and digital treasury transformation Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a global environment Benefits & Perks: Competitive compensation Career growth and learning opportunities Flexibility and work-life balance Collaborative and innovative culture Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects International environment and talented teams What's it like to work at Nebius: Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real own
