The Job: As an RTR Jr. Lead you'll prepare, analyze, and ensure data is accurate , across all activities under the Retained Organization responsibility and will be involved in reviewing processes handled by our BPO located in India. You'll get to: Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility. Conduct regular meetings, that include issue discussions. Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed. Ensure department systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies. Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures. Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center. Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with accuracy and quality expected. Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives . Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams. In fact, you embrace it. You also have: Proficient in SBD's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) is a plus. Bachelor´s Degree on Accounting with 3 + years of experience in RTR. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes (GL Accounting). Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Understanding of some internal control activities and practices. Goal oriented, ability to reach tight deadlines. Must be able to communicate in English in a fluent manner.
