About the role
The Campus Benefits Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration, communication, and delivery of employee benefits programs within a campus or multi-campus environment. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Benefits with direct supervision from the Benefits Manager, this role serves as a key point of contact for faculty, staff, and administrators. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, dental, vision, flexible spending plans, and ancillary benefits
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to benefits eligibility and enrollment
- Assist with onboarding new hires by explaining benefits options and facilitating enrollment processes
- Manage open enrollment activities, including communication campaigns and informational sessions
- Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
- Collaborate and engage with colleagues across functional areas including Personnel, Payroll, and Finance to resolve benefits-related issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations related to benefits administration including ACA, FMLA, COBRA, and ERISA
- Review and audit employee benefits information to ensure compliance with plan rules and company policies
- Assist with developing and distributing educational materials to promote employee awareness and engagement
- Organize and conduct employee benefits orientations, workshops, and education activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration or HR support
- Knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

- $71,518.76 - $83,329.20
