As part of an established team of Finance professionals you will be a key enabler of delivering the University Strategy. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be part of a team of business partners, analysts and technical assistants, providing financial reporting, analysis and insight, alongside customer focused support to stakeholders across the University. This is a key role where you will take charge of budgeting and forecasting, working closely with professional services teams, analysing data, identifying trends and highlighting areas of risk and opportunity. There is a high level of data analysis, so you'll be using your excel skills every day to produce reports for the senior management team. You will have : Excellent numeracy and literacy skills The ability to organise and prioritise work accurately Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Ability to work independently and as part of a team Currently working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ CIPFA/ACA) Experience budgeting and forecasting within a large organisation.
