About the role

This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to assist the higher grade mechanics in maintaining and repairing all bowling and facility electrical, mechanical and computerized equipment. Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: Must possess knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles and operating characteristics of bowling equipment and have the ability to locate malfunctions through visual, operational, audio and standard test equipment checks. Must have knowledge of parts, components and assemblies of bowling equipment. Successful completion of AMF mechanic course is strongly preferred, but not required. Must have the ability to read and understanding schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams and manufacturer's service manuals. Must possess good communication skills to train and oversee lower graded maintenance employees. Must possess the following experience for the noted level. NA-08 1 year experience at NA-07 level, 2 years documented experience with AMF or Brunswick bowling equipment repair or certification plus 6 months at NA-07 level or equivalent.
