Additional Information
Provide tutoring and other support services to students primarily in Chemistry. Major Responsibilities: - Provides individualized and group tutoring in a manner that empowers students to become independent, successful learners. - Provides tutoring in Ivy Tech courses with special concentrations in science, technology, and/or math, including remedial mathematics, advanced mathematics, chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, accounting, business applications, and other technology fields. - Teaches and assists students in the use of computer software. - Guides and instructs students in the use of software programs and/or web-based applications directly related to Ivy Tech coursework. - Maintains tutoring records for each student. - Interacts with instructors as to student needs, topics tutored, course changes, and new text book adoptions. - The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.
