Responsibilities

  • Replacing broken or damaged glass units in windows and doors
  • Installing and repairing UPVC, and timber aluminium windows, doors, and frames

  • Role Criteria
  • Proven experience in glazing and UPVC, and timber aluminium repairs
  • Experience in the above duties
  • Must be competent with all aspects of glazing and UPVC timber aluminium works including installing/replacing hinges, handles, restrictors, locks and sliding gear
  • Must have experience of and be able to undertake changing of UPVC trims, sills and renewing of double-glazed units
  • You must be able to measure glass and doors and confidently order materials with our suppliers
  • Must be familiar with composite doors
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills - verbal and written
  • Basic IT literacy for logging and reporting tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
