Execution Trader

Responsibilities

• Trade Execution: Buy and sell Equities, Futures, FX, and Derivatives (Options/Swaps) exactly as instructed by the Portfolio Manager.
• Platform Management: Efficiently manage order flows and execute trades using Bloomberg and Tradeweb .
• Market Monitoring: Watch the markets in real-time, monitor liquidity, and find the best timing to execute large orders without disrupting market prices.
• Middle Office Liaison: Ensure all completed trades are accurately booked, reconciled, and sent to the operations team and prime brokers without errors.
• Market Updates: Give the PM quick, real-time updates on market news, price movements, and trading volume.

Requirements

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience as an execution trader or trading assistant.
• Asset Knowledge: Practical experience dealing with Equities, Futures, Forex, and Derivatives .
• Software Skills: Highly proficient and comfortable using Bloomberg (AIM/EMSX) and Tradeweb daily.
• Key Traits: * Fast and accurate with numbers.
• Remains calm and focused under high pressure.
• Extreme attention to detail (makes zero mistakes when entering trade sizes or prices).
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Execution Trader Role Purpose We are looking for an Execution Trader to work directly alongside a Portfolio Manager (PM). Your main job is to quickly and accurately execute trades across multiple asset classes while keeping trading costs as low as possible.
