Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new and existing payment products or platforms.
- Translate business objectives into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend scalable, regulatory-compliant solutions in the payments space.

- Payments & FinTech Domain Expertise
- Analyze and design workflows for various payment processing systems - including card payments, digital wallets, ACH, SWIFT, RTP, and instant payments.
- Understand payment gateways, merchant acquiring, switching, and settlement processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022, and local payment regulations.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and fraud teams to incorporate KYC/AML requirements into product design.
- Support product managers in designing innovative financial solutions, such as embedded payments, open banking APIs, and cross-border remittances.

- Required Skills & Experience
- Core Competencies
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in FinTech, Banking, or Payments.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction lifecycles, and settlement processes.
- Experience with requirements gathering, UML modeling, use case diagrams, and workflow documentation.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and data integration concepts in payment systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Knowledge of card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and real-time payment systems.
- Understanding of open banking, tokenization, and digital identity frameworks.
- Exposure to banking-as-a-service (BaaS), payment orchestration, or merchant onboarding platforms is an advantage.
- SQL or data querying skills for transaction analysis (nice to have).
