Responsibilities
- Location: Onsite at our Kassel, Germany office
- Reports to: General Manager, Operations
- Support and optimize manufacturing systems, processes, and production workflows to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
- Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, tooling, and production systems to increase throughput and reduce operational friction.
- Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues affecting manufacturing performance.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and system procedures.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring manufacturing readiness and process stability.
- Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and stabilize processes.
- Support implementation and improvement of manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, or production tracking tools.
- Contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programs across the Kassel site.
- Help standardize processes and improve visibility of production performance across the manufacturing organization.
- What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or manufacturing systems roles.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments such as electronics, hardware, aerospace, automotive, or other technically complex production settings.
- Experience improving production systems, manufacturing processes, or factory workflows.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
