We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Officer to support our accounting, billing, collections, accounts payable, and financial reporting functions. This role requires strong communication skills, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to work directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency. A day to day life as Accounting Officer : Manage accounting-related email and call inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Review internal projects, tickets, and tasks to confirm clients are billed accurately for completed and billable work or services. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances in accordance with company policy. Review vendor invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and timely settlement. Coordinate with vendors regarding accounts payable concerns, discrepancies, and refund requests. Ensure timely payment of partner service providers to avoid interruptions in service. Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. Conduct periodic audits to verify correct billing and financial accuracy. Document workflows, standard procedures, and training materials to support operational consistency. Recommend and help implement process improvements, automation, and controls to reduce manual work and prevent costly errors. Table Stakes: Non-negotiables Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, billing, finance, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. International company exposure or background Core Competencies: Excellent written and spoken English.
