As a Security Operations Analyst within the Security function, you will play a key role in protecting the organisation through proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and operational resilience coordination across local, regional, and platform environments. The Security Function operates as a 1.5 line of defense within the organisation, supporting security governance, engineering, and operational security capabilities across the business. You will work closely with Security Engineering, Infrastructure, Engineering, Product, Platform, and GRC teams to strengthen operational security, resilience readiness, and security response capabilities across modern cloud-native and AI-driven environments. The primary focus areas of this role include: Threat & Vulnerability Management Security Monitoring & Operations Incident Response Operational Resilience Planning & Coordination This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys operational security, incident investigation, threat analysis, operational coordination, and continuous improvement of security operations processes and capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC, Incident Response, Threat & Vulnerability Management, or related cybersecurity roles Experience working with security monitoring and operational tooling such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, or cloud security platforms Familiarity with AWS/GCP cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, and operational security practices Sound understanding of incident response, threat management, vulnerability management, and security operations workflows Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices such as NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, or ISO 27001 Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications (Although Not Essential) Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SC-200, CEH, or similar Exposure to cloud-native environments, container security, or DevSecOps practices Basic scripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies is advantageous Familiarity with SOAR platforms, threat intelligence, or security automation tooling Knowledge or experience of supporting operational resilience, disaster recovery, or crisis coordination activities Interest in AI-enabled security operations, automation, or operational resilience governance
