About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated front-end construction lawyer to join our leading Brisbane Construction and Infrastructure team. Working closely with our experienced partners and lawyers, you will provide practical and commercially focused advice to government and private sector clients on the procurement, structuring and delivery of major infrastructure, energy and resources projects. This role offers exposure to complex and high-value projects from the outset, including transport, roads, water and waste, mining infrastructure, rail and port facilities, airports, education facilities and renewable energy developments. You will assist in drafting and negotiating sophisticated project agreements, advising on procurement strategies, risk allocation and contract administration, and supporting clients through all stages of project delivery. You will join a highly collaborative and technically strong team where partners are hands-on and invested in mentoring junior lawyers. The role provides an exceptional opportunity to develop both technical expertise and commercial judgement, while building lasting relationships with clients on projects that shape Queensland's infrastructure and energy landscape.

Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will be a skilled and enthusiastic lawyer, with several years of post-admission experience. As well as having industry knowledge, you will be passionate about construction with a keen desire to develop a long-term career in this space.
