Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities of Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, Project purchasing, and New Product Introduction.
  • Manage the sourcing of critical and complex materials or services requiring commercial judgment and technical understanding.

  • Support all sourcing activities and company-wide commitments, including reviewing, negotiating, and acquiring targeted indirect/Direct spend categories.
  • Manage contract review/negotiation with existing/new suppliers and obtain the best terms (quality, price, quantity, and delivery) to meet current and future requirements.
  • Complete purchase requests with domestic and international suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying all transactions.
  • Interface with Supplier, Client's Expeditor, and User Department to ensure on time delivery for critical items by regularly reviewing the progress report.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in Direct/Indirect Material Purchasing in a multinational company
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field; engineering background would be advantageous.
  • Professional understanding of SCM, Purchasing policies and procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills with ERP systems (SAP, QAD) and Microsoft Office
  • Resilient, flexible, motivated, well-mannered, and possessing leadership skills
  • Fluent in Thai and English
