Function: Engineering and Engineering Services Job Summary: Supports development of and manages portions of a Mega-projects for a greenfield Blue Ammonia facility. Includes but not limited to facilitating scope development, compiling estimates based on developed scope, facilitating detailed engineering, following scope change protocols, preparation of request for bid packages, evaluating proposals, requisitioning materials and services, execution of project scope utilizing in-house labor or outside construction contractors, and tracking overall project costs and schedule and preparation of routine formal reporting. Acts as CF management representative and actively coordinates the CF project team with the Engineering partner, Technip. Integrated into all aspects of the Technip work fronts (Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, etc.) Ensures change orders to EPF contract are limited by contract SME insight and effective communication/coordination between CF and Technip. Acts as CF management representative for main Mechanical Contractor for pre-mobilization construction planning, and construction execution. Coordinates Construction Contractor inquiries with CF Project Team and Technip Engineering resources. Major Responsibilities : Section 1 (Project Development) Manage project scope, provide oversight of Technip, Mechanical Contractor, and other 3rd Party activities and assure accuracy on progress reports. Coordinate management interface between Technip, Construction Contractor and CF Leadership. Ensure CF Project team resources are aware of upcoming critical work activities and notify CF management when resources are creating engineering review backlogs. Monitor progress and productivity or responsible 3rd Parties and advise on proper resource allocation. Notify CF management as deficiencies are noticed. Work with 3rd Parties to come up with schedule recovery plans when schedule delays are discovered. Work with 3rd Parties to prepare Change Orders as necessary and facilitate C/O management process. Execute project within approved budgets while controlling project scope. Oversee 3rd Party procurement processes Manage and coordinate with external engineering firms the strategies for packaged equipment such as process modules, vendor skids, or process unit packages. This includes coordination around engineering specifications, procurement, vendor selection (and subsequent management), logistics, construction/installation oversight, and commissioning/startup support. Effectively develop detailed project schedules and project cash flow projections and communicate project status and progress vs schedule and budget targets to management frequently and in writing.
