Posted Job Title Research Specialist A Job Profile Title Research Specialist A Job Description Summary In support of a research project studying the neural basis of decision making in non-human primates, the Research Specialist A will support neurophysiology experiments to record neural activity while the animal performs various decision tasks; assist with experiment set-up and clean-up; provide animal care and enrichment; perform cleaning and maintenance of animal implants and assist with animal training. Job Description Job Responsibilities Work closely with the PI/senior personnel to perform neurophysiology experiments to record neural activity while the animal performs various decision tasks. Coordinate with the PI/senior personnel to set up experiments and for cleanup after experiments Perform data/record entry and basic data processing. Assist with providing animal care and enrichment. Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of animal implants. Assist with animal training. Other duties as assigned.
