Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented lawyer to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute, storage, content delivery, database services, and more. AWS also offers a comprehensive suite of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) services, infrastructure, and tools to help users build, train, and deploy AI models. Key job responsibilities - Support AWS's Sales & Marketing teams, including by negotiating, drafting, and advising on strategic enterprise agreements and technology licensing agreements. Typical transactions will range from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value strategic agreements. - Advise on policy, regulatory and compliance issues. - Provide day-to-day support for the ISV business, and drive strategic initiatives across the AWS Legal team. - Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation for business team members, particularly the ISV organization. - Support general AWS legal goals and programmatic launches in support of AWS and its customers.
