Work Location: AgeCare Cariboo Place Address: 185 4 Ave N, Williams Lake, BC V2G 1S2 FTE: 0.35 - 14 hours weekly Employment Type: Regular Part Time, On-site Wage Levelling Salary: $40.75 - $50.87 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities

  • Complete timely nutrition assessments for all new residents and contribute to RAI-MDS assessments where applicable.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans, including diet orders, texture modifications, and therapeutic diets.
  • Assess swallowing abilities within scope and collaborate with nurses and physicians as needed.
  • Provide education to residents, families, and staff on nutrition and dietary best practices.
  • Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care.
  • Consult with residents and families to address nutrition-related concerns and ensure resident-centered dietary planning.
  • What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from a recognized university program.
  • Eligibility for registration, or current registration, with the provincial regulatory body (e.g., College of Dietitians of BC).
  • Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
  • Previous clinical nutrition experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults or in gerontology is considered an asset.
