Job Description Summary Cyber Security R&D Team is responsible for design, coding, delivering, maintaining cyber-security software applications & micro services and design secured deployment infrastructures within Transmission, Distribution, i.e. Industrial Automation Control Systems. The Cyber Security Engineer works on different R&D projects and as consultant supporting operations teams. Job Description Missions Reporting to the Cyber-Security R&D team leader, as part of a broader project engineering international team, he/she will be responsible of designing, implementing, supporting, optimizing, and maintaining the secured deployment infrastructures. Application of OT security regulations and standards (IEC62351, IEC62443, ISO27001, etc.) Showcase strong knowledge of IT/OT security, network security, certificate management, and cryptography. Strong Knowledge of the configuration and validation of GE portfolio products (DSAgile, Protection, IEDs, Bay controllers, Gateways, HMI, Configuration Tools) Proactively share and clearly articulate technical information across teams and stakeholders. Follow the secure development lifecycle processes including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures, and implementation. He/She makes technological choices based on experience and shows initiative to explore alternative technologies and approaches to solve problems. He/She has the ability to take on technical tasks and perform them with minimal supervision in a team environment. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). 5+ year's in Cyber Security area (design, deployment, compliance) including architecting an infrastructure, virtualization and micro-services / docker. Hands-on experience in infrastructure design and deployment Hands-on experience on GE Control Command system (DS Agile preferably) and protection relays is a must have Experience in production of technical documents such as HLD/LLD, acceptance books and maintenance manuals. Knowledge of 3rd-party products as antivirus, backup/restore, NIDS, monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk,Syslog...) Good troubleshooting skills (RCA..) Technical knowledge on different areas, for all areas Cyber Security oriented knowledge is required: Network (Firewalls, L2/L3 switches, taps, NIDS, etc.) System (Linux Ubuntu, Windows Server and 10, etc.) Network services : Active Directory, DNS, GPOs, etc. Virtualization (Hyper-V/ESXi) on-prem and Cloud based (Azure, AWS, etc.) Security testing tools (Fuzzing, vuln scanning, pen testing as Achilles, Nessus, Greenbone, etc.) Containerization (Docker CE/Kubernetes) Desired and Technical Leadership Characteristics: Demonstrated ability to work with technical leadership team to implement product platform multi-generation technology plan for a specific release of a global program/product. Excellent communication skills and fluent English speaker. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of project delivery.
