SCDF Work Study Diploma (Paramedic Specialist)

Requirements

• The Work-Study Diploma in Paramedicine program is a workplace training initiative available for individual who are ITE graduates.
• Applicants with NS obligations must be medically classfied as PES B1 or above
• Minimum pass standard for IPPT;
• For Pre-enlistees, there will be a 5-year Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE) bond in lieu of the National Service's obligation.
• Eligible Courses and Qualifications
• Employer-sponsored in-service EMTs (e.g. SCDF NSFs who are EMT trained)
• Higher Nitec graduates for the following:
• Paramedic & Emergency Care
• Nursing
• Community Care amd Social Services
• Opticianry
• Applied Food Science
• Chemical Process Technology
• Biotechnology
• Chemical Technology
• Nitec graduates with min GPA 2.0 from:
• Community Care and Social Services
• Sign On Bonus
• Newly recruited trainees will receive a sign-on bonus of $30,000. This sum will be disbursed in two tranches: $12,000 upon signing the contract and $18,000 upon confirmation.
