Gowrie House Care Home is a warm and welcoming 60 bed home in the heart of Kirkcaldy, offering high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel supported, comfortable and truly at home. Care Assistant Contract - Dayshit £13.60 per hour Dayshift & Nightshift Available Contracted to 38.5 hours per week Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Ongoing training and support Role Overview As a Care Assistant, this role plays an important part in supporting residents with their daily routines, ensuring care is delivered with dignity, respect and compassion. This opportunity is open to both new and experienced candidates, with full training and support provided. Working as part of a close knit team, the role supports residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily activities, helping to promote independence and overall wellbeing. Care is delivered in line with individual care plans, ensuring a consistent and person centred approach. The role also involves building positive relationships with residents, offering reassurance and emotional support, and contributing to a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Whether working day or night shifts, the focus remains on delivering high quality care and supporting residents to feel comfortable and valued.
