Technical Lead, Middle and Back Office, Information Technology

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in software development in the banking/finance sector
• Strong development skills in Java 8 or later
• Hands on with J2EE servers such as JBoss and good understanding of Java memory optimization
• Familiar with Spring framework, and web-based application development
• Strong hands-on experience in writing complex queries and optimizing queries for performance
• Familiar with scripting in Linux and Windows
• Working knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks and best practices
• Very strong attention to details, can work independently
• Good communication skills in English

Additional Information

Key Areas of Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop new features and enhance existing Calypso configurations to support business functions effectively. Identify performance bottlenecks within Calypso applications and optimize to enhance efficiency and responsiveness. Work closely with production support teams during releases and issue management to ensure stability. Investigate and resolve escalated issues from the production support team. Collaborate with support teams to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions. Adhere to and promote best practices in version control, continuous integration, and release management. Ensure consistent documentation of design, configuration, support procedures, user manuals, and operational guidelines. Oversee development to ensure code is thoroughly covered by unit tests. Guarantee rigorous testing of all changes before deployment to QA or UAT environments. Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to align on project deliverables. Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. Other tasks related to projects as directed by the manager
