- You will play a crucial role in providing support in the following areas:
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
- Design and implement database schemas, monitor database health, and perform routine backups and recovery operations to safeguard mission-critical data.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues, manage user access and permissions, and optimize queries to enhance system performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards while staying current on updates, patches, and advancements in Oracle technologies.
- WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Technical training (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI and may be required to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI)-scope polygraph
- Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start; Cloud+, Security+, SSCP or GSEC within 6 months of start.
- Location: Offutt AFB, NE
- Oracle database administration (installation, configuration, tuning)
- Required Experience with: Data Guard, RAC, Multitenant, ASM, OEM
- SQL and PL/SQL proficiency
- Performance monitoring and optimization
- Backup, recovery, and disaster ‑ recovery planning
- Schema design and data modeling
- Troubleshooting and root ‑ cause analysis
- Security management, access control, and compliance
- Patch management and staying current with Oracle updates
- Understanding of high ‑ availability architectures
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Desired experience: OUD, Ansible

- The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
