Junior Python Engineer London (Hybrid - 3 days in office) Up to 60,000 + benefits My client is a fast-growing fintech based in London, and they're looking for a Junior Python Engineer to join their expanding team. You'll be joining a collaborative engineering team building scalable backend services and APIs, with the chance to develop your skills quickly and make a genuine impact. The business is growing rapidly, so this role offers strong progression and exposure to modern engineering practices. What you'll be doing Building and maintaining backend services in Python. Developing APIs and working on scalable financial systems. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code. Contributing to technical improvements across the platform. What they're looking for Commercial experience with Python, ideally 1-3 years. Experience with backend development and REST APIs. Familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
