Responsibilities

  • Data Centre Operations & Monitoring
  • Monitor data centre infrastructure (servers, storage, network, power, and cooling systems).

  • Ensure adherence to data centre security policies and access control.
  • Support audits (ISO, SOC, internal compliance).
  • Monitor environmental and security systems (CCTV, access logs, alarms).
  • Facilities Coordination
  • Work closely with facility teams on power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
  • Monitor UPS, generators, CRAC units, and fire suppression systems.
  • Participate in DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) testing.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on system performance and incidents.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in data centre operations or IT infrastructure support.
  • Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
  • Familiarity with DCIM tools, monitoring systems, and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts (24/7 operations environment).
