This role will serve as referral underwrit ing leader for complex Global Property and Casualty , Middle Market multinational accounts sourced by N2G , a joint venture created by two insurance powerhouses: Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (Nationwide®) and Generali Global Corporate & Commercial. In this role, you will serve as the technical underwriting authority responsible for evaluating complex and high-exposure property and casualty risks within the Middle Market segment. This role serves as a key referral point for underwriting teams, providing expert guidance, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards, and supporting profitable growth across global portfolios. The position partners closely with underwriting, actuarial, product, and risk engineering teams to drive disciplined underwriting practices, enhance technical capabilities, and maintain consistency in risk selection and pricing. #LI-JR1 Job Description Summary Are you a proven Industry leader with strategic, creative and technical commercial product and underwriting skills? As a Technical Director, you will be the leader assigned to a specific industry, responsible for developing and recommending profit strategies with execution of underwriting standards. The Technical Director will be the subject matter expert as it pertains to the review of referrals, pricing strategy, growth and profitability of assigned industries. You will collaborate with Loss Control, Claims, Underwriting and practice leaders to ensure alignment to the strategic direction your assigned industries. You are responsible for underwriting execution where specialization is critical, and to create profit, and growth strategies for the assigned industry in conjunction with field leaders.
