The ASPCA's Animal Relocation department is tasked with providing effective, lifesaving, animal relocation and transport. Using the theories of supply and demand, relocation saves lives by transporting animals from under-resourced shelters in areas of oversupply where the chance of adoption is slim, to shelters where the chances of adoption are greater. Responsibilities
- The Manager, Resources & Engagement, will also serve as a central liaison across teams and functional areas, driving communication, planning, and coordination efforts, while managing internal communications, digital content, and department-wide events.
- The Manager, Resources and Engagement reports directly to the Director, Performance & Engagement and has no direct reports.
- Where and When You'll Work
- This remote-based position (which requires travel, as described below) is open to all eligible candidates based within the United States (with preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central Time Zones).
- The position is remote; however, the employee must be accessible to teams in all time zones, with the bulk of responsibilities aligned to Eastern and Central Time Zone schedules.
- Work schedule includes early mornings, evenings, rotating weekends, and occasional holidays. Schedules are subject to change at the sole discretion the ASPCA.
