Pay Range is the entire compensation range for the position. The Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Manager leads efforts to support and grow existing businesses within Pima County. This position develops strong relationships with local employers, identifies challenges and opportunities impacting business growth, and connects companies with resources, workforce solutions, incentives, and government partners. The BRE Manager will conduct business outreach visits and help identify, create, and implement strategies and programs that strengthen the local economy and encourage job creation and investment. The role also collaborates with internal departments, public, private, and educational partners to enhance competitiveness, support industry growth, and improve the overall business climate while serving as a key advocate for the needs of the business community. This classification is in the unclassified service and is exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules.
