The Senior Buyer supports the achievement of Supply Chain Management operational objectives. This role works closely with the supply chain team to support day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting . As an integral member of the team, the Senior Buyer will be actively involved in strategic sourcing, inventory planning, logistics, distribution, and ERP optimization . The position is also responsible for negotiating cost-effective pricing, quality standards, on-time delivery performance, commercial contract terms and conditions, and favorable payment terms , with minimal supervision. Oversee and follow up all open Pos, make sure no overdue PO and system delivery date is accurate Analyze data to maximize supply chain efficiency and keep costs down for the company Develops, Implements and Manages supply chain processes and solutions. Setup and manage data into ERP including but not limited to item setups, costs, purchase orders, etc. Supports different kinds of RFQ, RFQ analysis Skill in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications, bids and proposals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies for the assigned category or region that continuously improves quality, delivery, service, total cost of ownership and mitigate risk in the supply chain. Work closely with sales, product managers and forecast team to capture forecast & requirements. Responsible for procurement savings, operational performance and quality claim for categories assigned. Establish and maintain supplier scorecards in areas of OTD, cost of poor quality etc. Participates in supplier selection, qualification & development process of new suppliers by working closely with global sourcing, quality teams. Prepares data and conducts analyses (individually or assists the manager with preparation) for contract negotiations and pricing discussions. (e.g., spend analysis, researches market and industry conditions, and collects forecast data on volumes). Expectations: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent education or greater 3+ years Supply Chain Management or related field and experience Preferred experience in sourcing/purchasing/project managing/ manufacturing field. Excellent advance Excel/Power BI skills Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Applicable certifications a plus, e.g CPSM, CTPS, etc
