About the role

We're currently looking for a friendly, well organised and patient focused Administration Officer to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. Working on a permanent part time basis (32 hours minimum per fortnight ) at both our sessional suites located at North Lakes and St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside (Chermside) , you will ensue a seamless and efficient patient journey providing exceptional service to our patients, specialists and visitors. About the hospital: At St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside, we have over 1,000 dedicated and skilled staff who treat nearly 35,000 people a year, delivering safe and high-quality care to all our patients. Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency. Excellent customer service skills with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Highly developed interpersonal, organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise workload and efficiently manage multiple tasks High level of computer skills, including the Microsoft packages Prior experience in a health care setting would be advantageous; including an understanding of funding and contract arrangements within a private hospital Knowledge of WebPAS and the ability to use other patient management systems is desirable Working knowledge and understanding of medical terminology St Vincent's has been a leader in Australia's health and aged care landscape for more than 165 years.
