[Coupang] Principal, Legal Counsel (CIC Legal)

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in the U.S., Korea or common law jurisdiction (e.g., England, Australia, Singapore) with 6+ years post-qualification legal experience, both in-house and private practice .
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements across supply chain, enterprise hardware and software, data center and cloud services, professional services and other critical supplier relationships.
• Experience providing legal support for tech product development (AI/IT).
• Familiarity with AI and LLM-related legal and contracting issues, including data use and training restrictions, IP rights, and risk allocation .
• Demonstrable interest in diving deep to learn new technologies.
• Bilingual Korean/English language ability with full professional fluency in English.
• Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written .
• Strong interest in and ability to learn new technologies, especially in Tech and AI
• Engineering background preferred but not required
• Flexibility and strong prioritization skills in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
