Production Operator-3

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Operator: - Ensure Production Target achieved, this may require shift requirements.
• Responsible for the build quality of the product, in-line with the standard operating instructions.
• Responsible for the routine maintenance / cleaning of the workstation
• Check to ensure all equipment is compliant - BV Inspections, Calibration, PAT
• As & when required support any other duties that may be required to support the manufacturing facility
• Carry out 5S inspections
• Ensure EHS best practice and fully align to GE EHS guidelines
• The Person
• Good general standard of education.
• 5 years' experience in the light mechanical assembly environment or similar.
• EK Permanent Work Permit

Requirements

• The ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
• Understanding of 'Lean manufacturing' techniques would be advantageous
• Understanding of Kanban & Flow / Pull Techniques would be advantageous
• Mechanical/Electrical aptitude would be advantageous
• Requires manual handling and ergonomics knowledge.
• Able to work to standard written operative procedures in an autonomous manner
• Knowledge of VAV and LOTO
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivating, proactive and results driven approach
• Able to work to deadlines with good quality
• Proficient in the English language, written and verbal.
