Engineer (Mechanical) - M&E Subcontractor

About the role

5 days working 8:00 to 4:45 (Based on Project) Provide effective site coordination and technical problem-solving support to clients and project stakeholders. Apply engineering expertise in design, building services systems, and relevant codes of practice to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure materials and installation works performed by suppliers and subcontractors comply with quality standards and ISO procedures. Monitor and coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor activities to maintain installation quality and project schedules. Prepare shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and other technical documentation required for project execution. Develop work schedules and participate in client, consultant, and internal project meetings. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily project operations, including planning, quality control, safety compliance, and progress monitoring. Liaise closely with the main contractor and project teams to ensure smooth coordination and minimize rework. Manage site materials and equipment efficiently to reduce wastage and optimize resource utilization. Maintain close communication with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and prevent project delays. Conduct inspections to identify and rectify non-conforming materials or installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Evaluate and implement new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Monitor site progress closely and provide clear guidance to suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
