Responsibilities

  • Review approved scope and confirm all required documentation is complete.
  • Develop execution plans including P&IDs markups, inspection drawings/tabs, plot plan updates, and BOMs.
  • Create the step out plans in SAP to allow for safe and efficient execution of work.
  • Participation in the contractor validation reviews, field walks, schedule quality reviews and optimization sessions.
  • Support responses to contractor RFIs as designated by the Lead Planner which includes AWRs submitted during the planning phase.
  • Assist schedulers with labor levelling in each unit.
  • Lead scope review/job plan index reviews and scope challenge sessions.
  • Lead detailed schedule reviews.
  • Coordinate with projects, procurement, and engineering to ensure materials readiness and approved work packages.
  • Develop contract strategies and review RFPs during contractor selection phases.
  • Monitor progress, costs, and performance; manage added work, maintain BOMs/material masters, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum Red Seal journeyman, technical diploma, or process operations background.
  • Experience supporting major maintenance or turnaround planning, acting as an operations liaison with projects, and working with scheduling software such as P6 or CMMS/GWAS are all considered assets.
  • We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
  • As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
  • For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
