About the role

Job Profile: Mining Engineer/Consultant As a Mining Engineer/Consultant at IHC Mining, you will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting clients worldwide in the development of innovative (wet) mining projects. Our work often involves pushing boundaries and creating bespoke solutions for underwater mining and slurry transport challenges. You will lead and contribute to mining studies across various stages of the mine life cycle, from concept to operation. In addition to developing new projects, you will visit active mining sites to help clients optimize their existing operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge mining technologies while collaborating with international clients, consulting partners, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mining studies and technical evaluations for wet mining projects.
• Develop mine plans and designs using industry-standard software.
• Provide on-site support to clients to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers to deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of mining methodologies and technologies.

• Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in mining operations or project development.
• Proficient in mine planning and design software (e.g., Datamine or similar).
• Knowledge of dredging processes and technologies is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a hands-on mindset.
• A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Willingness to travel internationally for short assignments.
