USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The University of New Hampshire School of Nursing invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position that reports directly to the Director of Nursing, in the College of Health and Human Services. This position is responsible for the education of undergraduate/graduate students which may include instruction and/or supervision of students in the clinical setting, coordination of clinical experiences, simulation laboratory instruction, classroom instruction, and on-line instruction. The primary function is to help baccalaureate and graduate students acquire the knowledge, skills, critical thinking ability, and attitudes required in professional nursing practice. This is a 12-month appointment due to the year-round nature of the Direct Entry Master in Nursing Duties/Responsibilities Develop and deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes. Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning. Evaluate and document student progress and provide relevant and timely feedback to students. Collaborate with faculty colleagues to develop, support and implement curriculum. Actively participate in governance for the School of Nursing Serve on School of Nursing, college or university committees as required. Participate in evaluation of programs and accreditation activities. Serve as an academic advisor to nursing students.
