About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Test and Evaluation Data Division, Data Management Branch of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09/12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following along with demonstrating the four competencies below: (1) Testing programs in developing data management plans to ensure efficient and effective test and evaluation execution as well as providing test teams with tailorable data management teams based on data requirements; (2) Assisting with developing data requirements and management plans, including integration into model-based systems, engineering tools, and associated contract language; (3) Ensuring the development and maintenance of data labs support collection, processing, storing, sharing, and access of data, along with partnering with developers to ensure the capability of data environments meet program requirements such as capacity, security classifications, tools, and accessibility; (4) Monitoring and coordinating compliance with the Risk Management Framework requirements across all stages of data management processes and associated resources through collaboration with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs); (5) Providing support for implementing data management strategies and/or procedures through test planning, execution, and reporting, as well as coordinating with program sponsors, test team leadership, engineering, and contract stakeholders to identify detailed or missing data requirements while executing data management plans; and (6) Managing data requests and troubleshooting issues submitted by stakeholders including internal/external government agencies and industry organizations, while developing strategies and processes for integrating and transforming data to facilitate consistency, accuracy, and usability. 1. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
