KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Anantara The Palm employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Communicate with the team to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement continuous improvement programs. Ensure all staff clearly understand their responsibilities and job descriptions. Ensure all reports submitted to Operations and other relevant stakeholders are accurate and concise. Provide the team with a clear understanding of spa costs and expenses, including petty cash expenditures, product usage, and other operational costs. Conduct disciplinary actions as required, accurately documenting verbal and written warnings for policy and procedure violations. Conduct weekly meetings with all staff to discuss revenue performance, operational challenges, sales techniques, quality of work, training needs, and any other relevant matters. Organize upselling training programs, spa promotion initiatives, and training for the team. Monitor retail and spa service displays within the spa and public areas. Maintain overall quality standards and ensure compliance with company requirements. Evaluate, coach, and guide spa staff to improve their skills and performance. Work closely with the hotel to ensure spa and hotel activities are effectively coordinated. Collaborate with others to achieve common goals, perform effectively as both a team leader and team member, and promote teamwork within the organization. Ensure a positive working environment and support staff welfare within the spa. Maintain a thorough understanding of and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain a thorough understanding of and adhere to company policies relating to fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety. #LI-MH1 Bachelor's degree in business and/or Hospitality Management At Least 5 years' experience in hospitality industry, in luxury resorts or hotels in the UAE Previous Managerial experience in a professional Spa setting Keen on P&L and selling skill Ability to make decisions International work experience is preferred.
