Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications and data solutions. You will work closely with business users, vendors, and internal teams throughout the software development lifecycle while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve software development efficiency, data processing, and reporting capabilities. This role is ideal for candidates with strong software development experience who are passionate about modern technologies, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will:
• Software Development
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise application systems.
• Perform requirements analysis and collaborate with business users to deliver technical solutions.
• Develop high-quality software and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support for internal users and external customers.
• Implement application enhancements and service requests.
• System Integration & Data Management
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Support data warehouse implementation and reporting solutions.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Support business intelligence and reporting initiatives using appropriate tools.
• AI-Enabled Development
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding productivity, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Leverage AI and machine learning technologies to support intelligent reporting, predictive analytics, and data processing.
• Incorporate AI-enabled solutions to optimize ETL workflows and reporting processes.
• Ensure the secure and responsible use of AI tools in compliance with IT security and cybersecurity policies.
• Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with project teams, business users, vendors, and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders.
• Participate in system testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Support after-office-hours activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong programming experience in: Oracle PL/SQLC#.NET Framework / .NETPythonWindows/Linux scripting
• Experience in ETL development and data warehouse implementation.
• Good understanding of Software Secure Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Strong SQL and database development knowledge.
• Experience gathering and analyzing user requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage:
• Semiconductor manufacturing industry experience.
• Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
• AI-assisted software development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT Enterprise, Amazon Q Developer, or similar).
• Machine Learning or AI-based data processing.
• Cloud platforms and modern software development practices.
