About the role

Enterprise Architect - Level III - Java, microservice, Kafka, Gen AI, Prompt Engineering Responsibilities: Design, define and implement the future state of products for ServiceNow Define core IT operating model of process, data, and technology, and design the desired architectural foundations for execution Drive design decisions to build solutions that are customer grade with focus on Security, Availability, Scalability, Performance and User Experience and minimized technical debt Lead strategic discussions with business and IT executives, on attaining key business outcomes via digital maturity and transformation Provide Architecture Governance and assurance that the solutions that are delivered are compliant with the approved Architecture Research emerging trends and drive innovation roadmap for future state vision Act as a mentor for colleagues and help drive knowledge-sharing. Preferred Qualifications: skills and experience BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect 5+ years' experience in other technical roles such as developer or system analyst Strong consultative skills at a cross functional level Analysis level UML, activity diagrams, business use cases, business rules, and system level features Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is preferred) Broad based platform and technical exposure and complete software development lifecycle perspective Good presentation & communication skills: ability to translate and clearly formulate technical issues Strong project and team management skills Nice To Have: Generative AI Kafka
