D365 Functional Consultant

About the role

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll take ownership of Finance-led functional design and delivery across D365 F&O. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure the platform is configured, optimised, and delivering measurable business value - from fit-gap and design through to go-live and stabilisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit-gap analysis and functional design
• Configure and optimise D365 modules, workflows, and controls
• Translate business requirements into scalable, standard ("vanilla") solutions
• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities
• Provide hands-on functional support, including issue resolution and root cause analysis
• Partner with implementation vendors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery
• Drive process standardisation, data quality, and governance improvements
• Contribute to the Drive:365 roadmap, shaping how the business operates in the future

Requirements

• Essential
• At least 3 years' experience as a D365 Functional Consultant
• Strong Finance and/or Supply Chain expertise
• The ability to confidently lead conversations with business stakeholders
• Experience working in ERP transformation or implementation environments
• Highly Desirable
• Experience with Autoline or other DMS platforms
• Understanding of data migration, integrations, and reconciliation processes
• Experience working with implementation partners or vendors
