About the role

The HR Business Partner - Indonesia is the in-country lead HR partner to the Jobstreet Indonesia commercial organization. As a trusted advisor, the HRBP uses data driven insights to guide people decisions and uphold high compliance and performance standards. Responsibilities

  • Act as the accountable HR partner for Indonesia, ensuring people practice and workforce decisions support organizational goals and strategy
  • Effectively use data to form insights and identify opportunities and risks and translating this into practical actions that support business decision and performance.
  • Provide well-delivered coaching and guidance to leaders and stakeholders, using sound reasoning and people management best practices to support effective people decisions
  • Align and implement regional people initiatives locally, ensuring consistent execution of workforce plans and organizational priorities.
  • Advise and lead organizational design and its implementation, including ochestrating execution of organization reshaping initiatives compliantly and with minimal business disruption.
  • Partner with leaders to embed strong performance and talent management practices that drive high performance and development at all levels.
  • Manage regular HR cycles including salary reviews, talent reviews, performance evaluations, and engagement surveys.
  • Provide guidance on succession and development, identifying talent needs and shaping programs that build team capability
  • Handle complex employee relations cases minimizing legal, reputational, and culture risk.
  • Build trusted relationships across all levels and serve as a credible advisor, coach, and connector between leadership and employees
  • Champion employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives that foster inclusion, belonging, and a strong, cohesive workplace culture.
  • Act as the go-to expert on Indonesia's workforce landscape, sharing local insights with regional and global teams to help shape people strategies and ways of working.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively and strategically with senior and functional leaders
  • Proven strength in managing multiple priorities and operating independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to translate data into practical insights.
  • Familiar with HRIS and HR analytics tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, or similar) at a functional level
  • Proficiency using data and presentation tools such as Excel or Power Point to organize information and generate insights
  • Strong command in English, both written and verbal, with confidence communicating in regional and cross-cultural settings-cultural settings
  • Comfortable working within a matrix or regional organizational structure; regional exposure preferred
