About the role

You will serve as a LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Industrial Operations Management Department (IOMD) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Leading and directing personnel and applying qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to evaluate facilities, space utilization, equipment, and project outcomes; 2) Demonstrating knowledge of facilities management operations supporting multifunctional, command-level organizations and missions; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of facilities master planning, including assessment of expansion, reduction, and long-term utilization impacts; 4) Possessing skill in interpreting engineering and technical drawings related to building systems and plant equipment; 5) Demonstrating knowledge of facilities and plant equipment management principles, including utility systems and installation layouts; 6) Understanding of applicable Federal regulations and policies governing real and personal property management and disposal; 7) Demonstrating knowledge of Federal facilities and equipment maintenance policies, procedures, and resource coordination practices; 8) Collecting, analyzing, and presenting data; knowledge of automated facilities management information systems.
