Position Overview The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for leading the organization's integrated communications and marketing strategy across internal and external audiences. This position oversees internal communications, B2B marketing initiatives, consumer nurture campaigns, and cross-functional marketing project management to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. This role serves as a strategic communications leader and brand steward, responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen awareness, engagement, referral relationships, and organizational culture. The Director of Marketing & Communications collaborates closely with executive leadership, clinical and operational teams, referral partners, and external vendors to create meaningful and measurable communications strategies. The Director oversees the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns including email nurture streams, referral partner communications, digital marketing initiatives, organizational announcements and internal employee communications strategy. This position also supports marketing workflows and prioritization to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-oriented, with strong communication skills, marketing expertise, and exceptional project management abilities. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining brand standards, organizational alignment, and audience-centered messaging. Schedule Full Time, 1.0 FTE, (40hrs/wk), Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Eastern Time zone preferred. Compensation Range: Marketing and Communications Director: $129,000 - $150,000 Annually Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position How the Marketing and Communications Director Empowers Recovery Leads development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies that support organizational growth, engagement, and brand awareness. Oversees internal communications initiatives including leadership messaging, employee communications, organizational updates, culture initiatives, and communication planning. Develops and manages B2B marketing strategies focused on referral sources, professional partnerships, and community relationships. Creates and oversees consumer nurture campaigns across digital platforms including email marketing, automation workflows, lead nurturing, and retention communications. Collaborates with leadership and department stakeholders to identify communication needs, priorities, and opportunities. Maintains and strengthens organizational brand standards, voice, tone, and messaging consistency across all channels. Coordinates and manages cross-functional marketing projects to ensure deadlines and organizational objectives are achieved. Evaluates marketing and communication performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve engagement outcomes. Provides editorial oversight, proofreading, and messaging guidance for organizational communications. Supports executive leadership with strategic communication planning and organizational messaging initiatives.
