Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist

About the role

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the SOFTWARE ACQUISTION DIV, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Systematic oversight of projects and/or teams to solve complex technical problems; 2) Disciplined application of engineering principles to the acquisition of software; 3) Design of software architectures using computer science foundations; 4) Development of optimized technical solutions balancing performance with cost and schedule constraints; and 5) Utilize tools designing software components via modeling and technical reviews to meet customer requirements.
