Job Summary The Inventory and Cycle Count Supervisor is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and reliability between SAP system records and physical inventory within the plant. This role leads the planning, execution, and analysis of cycle count programs and the annual physical inventory process. The position oversees inventory analysts and cycle counters, manages inventory adjustments under strict internal control and SOX compliance, drives root cause analysis of variances, and develops KPIs and dashboards to support Materials Management decision-making. Additionally, it promotes continuous improvement in SAP WM and inventory processes to sustain high inventory accuracy. About your role Plan, schedule, and supervise the execution of cycle count programs based on ABC classification, ensuring full inventory coverage and compliance with established timelines. Monitor and ensure accurate execution of counts and proper recording in SAP. Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and Pareto, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Manage and approve inventory adjustments in alignment with internal controls and SOX requirements, ensuring proper documentation and system accuracy. Generate and maintain inventory performance reports and dashboards (accuracy, compliance, variances, trends) using Power BI and Excel. Lead, train, and develop the inventory team (analysts and cycle counters), ensuring adherence to procedures, SAP transactions, and internal control standards. Coordinate and execute the annual physical inventory in collaboration with cross-functional teams including Finance, Production, and Quality. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in SAP WM and inventory processes to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce systemic variances. Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance, documentation, and evidence availability. About you Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field required. 3-5+ years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse management within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in variance analysis, root cause investigation, and inventory adjustment processes under internal control frameworks. Experience leading teams, including training, performance management, and development. Strong SAP knowledge (cycle count transactions, inventory movements, stock analysis, and adjustments). Solid understanding of SOX compliance and internal control processes. Experience with inventory KPIs (accuracy metrics, compliance, variance tracking). Advanced Excel skills and intermediate to advanced Power BI for reporting and dashboarding. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Results-oriented with a high sense of urgency and process discipline.
