Systems Design/Architecture Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, build, characterize, and document innovative proof‑of‑concept systems for high‑speed test and measurement applications.
• Perform RF/mmWave signal‑chain analysis , system‑level modeling, and performance evaluation for semiconductor device and subsystem testing.
• Develop technical collateral -including application notes, reference designs, articles, and tradeshow demonstrations-that highlight instrument‑grade performance using ADI products.
• Solve customer problems by delivering validated system‑level solutions , supported by detailed modeling and hands‑on measurements in a state‑of‑the‑art lab.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, marketing, design, and product development teams to convert system‑level requirements into component‑level specifications for current and future ADI products.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience, or MS or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of system‑level application challenges and a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive solutions.
• Experience with high‑speed, RF, and mmWave system design , including proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Keysight ADS, and SystemVue.
• Deep knowledge of analog and high‑speed mixed‑signal design fundamentals .
• Demonstrated programming experience in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ .
• Hands‑on experience with test and measurement equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, real‑time oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Familiarity with FPGAs, DSPs, and embedded systems .

• The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $131,285 to $190,108. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
